Anne Wiskind, MD is from Tallahassee, Florida, and received her B.S. degree from Davidson College. She attended medical school at Emory University School of Medicine, followed by internship and residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory. She then completed a 2-year fellowship in urogynecology and pelvic surgery at Emory and St. George’s Hospital in London, England. She remained on the faculty at Emory for 3 years, during which time she was Chief of Gynecology and Chief of the Urodynamic Lab at Grady Memorial Hospital.
She has been in private practice at Piedmont Hospital since 1994. She was also Co-Medical Director and founder of the A.C. Richardson Center for Comprehensive Pelvic Health at Piedmont Hospital from 2004-2010. In addition, she has served on the Executive Committee for the American Urogynecological Society and the Membership Committee for the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons. Additional society memberships include: the International Continence Society, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Georgia Ob/Gyn Society and the Atlanta Ob/Gyn Society. Notably, Dr. Wiskind has been elected to “Best Doctors in America” in 2007-2008, 2009-2010, and 2010-2011.She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and limits her practice to gynecology and urogynecology.
She is a board certified specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
Christine Turner, MSN, WHNP, BC graduated from Brenau Women’s College, Gainesville, Georgia, in 1984 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She began her career as a staff nurse at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, specializing in Hematology/Oncology.
In 2001, Turner attended Emory University, Nell Hodgson School fo Nursing, graduating with a Master’s Degree in Nursing/Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program. She is experienced in developing and implementing women’s health policy and focuses on health education and prevention of disease for women across their lifespan. Turner is certified by the National Certification Corporation for Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties Center. She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.
