INFORMATION FOR SURGERY PATIENTS:

Our practice focuses on general gynecology, urogynecology and complex pelvic floor disorders, with additional subspecialty training in pelvic surgery. We appreciate your trust in our practice and physicians to take care of your surgical needs, and we will try to make the process as easy for you as possible.

NEW! We offer minimally invasive robotic surgery utilizing the da VinciĀ® Surgical System. For more information on the da VinciĀ® Surgical System, click here. When you schedule your surgery with the office, we will give you a date and approximate time. The exact surgical procedure will be determined by you and your physician. We will need all your correct insurance information, so we can precertify your procedure with the insurance company, if that is required.

Approximately a week prior to your procedure, we will ask you to come to the office for a pre-operative consultation appointment so that you and the physician can verify your current medical history and medications, and so that we may discuss the particulars of your surgery. This will be the time that you can ask all your questions about the planned procedure, any necessary hospital stay, and your expected postoperative recovery. We really want you to be educated about your surgery. At this visit we will also have you sign the operative consent form.
